A CD Review
My First Review of the holiday season: A Very She and Him Christmas
I was a skeptic when I first saw this album. I mean, I like Zoey Deschanel as much as the next girl, but I was unsure of her voice meshing with that holiday sound.
What I found when listening to it, had me pleasantly surprised!! Zoey Deschanel and M.Ward come together on this album and it's music to my ears ( pun intended)
The two of them do the nearly impossible when it comes to modern holiday music. They were able to keep that classic Christmas warmth and familiarity of Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole, while giving it a good twist of current sound. My only issue, was that there were some text changes in a couple of songs, nothing major, but just enough of a change to shake my christmas foundations.
Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to update their Holiday Music Collection, and still keep those childhood memories flowing.
A- Rating for me!

Potato Chip Chicken
Tonight's recipe is great if you have several almost gone but not quite empty chip bags lying around, with the bitter remains of what were once delicious chips.. every time you make it, it has a unique taste!
4 Boneless chicken breast
2 eggs
1/3 cup flour
2 cups of whatever chips you have lying around
2-3 tbsp parsley
salt and pepper to taste
garlic flakes
minced onion
1/4 cup oil of your choice ( I use coconut oil, it adds a little nutty taste and is good for your cholesterol as well!)
put chips and parsley in plastic bag, and use rolling pin to crush them into an almost bread crumb texture. Put this in 1 bowl of plate. I also added garlic and onion to this mixture for flavor. In second container, mix flour and salt and pepper to taste. Crack 2 eggs in 3rd container and wisk. lay containers out in order... 1st.. Eggs 2nd Flour 3rd Crumb mixture.
In frying pan, heat oil over medium high heat. take chicken breast, dip in egg, flour, and crumb mixture and transfer to frying pan. If bread crumbs won't stick, re-dip in egg mixture. Fry in oil aproximately 10 minutes per side, until outside is golden brown, and chicken is no longer pink. Serves 4
